We hand-make steamed yum buns and beautiful steamed yumplings. We serve them from our little kitchens around East London and park up in our big yellow Yum Bus for events.
Lisa began Yum Bun as a Saturday stall in Hackney's Broadway Market in 2010. After two years trading in London’s best food markets, we set up a year long pop-up Shop in Old Street and also began to build our permanent little homes in Street Feast venues across East London.
In 2015, we ran a pop up store in Harvey Nichols before hitting the road and taking our food truck to lots of feasts and festivals around the UK. Along the way we have picked up British Street food awards, featured on many a best street food list and have catered events for clients from the Obvserver Food Magazine awards to Mercedes.
We have settled down into permanent spaces at The Kitchens, Old Spitalfields Market and
Kerb Seven Dials Market.
