We serve fluffy hand-made steamed buns and dumplings from our two street food kitchens in East London.

Yum Bun’s playful menu takes inspiration from Lisa’s Japanese upbringing and many travels around the Far East. The buns known as 'gua bao' are steamed, split and filled to order with freshly prepared, high quality ingredients - we only use higher welfare British pork, chicken and sustainable fish, and buy our veg locally when in season.

Yum Bun began as a Saturday stall in Hackney's Broadway Market in 2010.  After two years trading in London’s best food markets, we set up a year long pop-up shop in Old Street, took our big yellow bus to festivals and also began to build our little homes in Street Feast venues across East London. Along the way we picked up British Street food awards,
and featured on many a best street food list.

We now have settled into spaces at The Kitchens, Old Spitalfields Market and Kerb Seven Dials Market.
